The Umatilla SWCD met on Tuesday, May 19. Here are some important highlights:

 

1. Farm Service Agency (FSA) announcements: A temporary full time position was announced and open to receiving applications. Additionally, FSA reminds qualifying individuals to submit their acreage reports. 
2. Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) announcements: Technical Service Provider (TSP) will now be a focus of pursuit for funding for NRCS. Keep an eye out  for future funding opportunities!
3. Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) announcements: This fall, teh SIA Restoration Grant will be open for projects in the $30,000 range or less, within any current SIA. 
4. Umatilla Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD): The budget for the 2026-2027 Fiscal year has been approved. as well as the Annual Work Plan.
